This device is a smart power strip designed and manufactured in Korea, intended for use with high power consumption devices, while providing advanced safety and control features.

Technical and electrical specifications

• Voltage: The subscriber operates at a standard voltage of 220 volts at a frequency of 60 Hz, which is the voltage adopted in South Korea and many countries around the world.

Smart protection and security features

This subscriber features an advanced electronic board (PCB) that provides advanced security features, most importantly:

1. Individual port control: As shown in the circuit diagram, each socket (eye) has its own relay, which is the white electromechanical switch. This allows for the following:

• Turn each port on and off individually using the buttons on the subscriber’s device.
• Individual protection for each connected device , which is the most important feature.

1. Automatic disconnection upon voltage change: The electronic board is equipped with circuits for continuous voltage monitoring. If any of the following occurs, the subscriber will automatically disconnect power to the socket to protect the connected device:

• Voltage increase: If the voltage rises above a safe level (for example, above 240 volts).
• Low voltage (voltage drop): If the voltage drops below the level required to safely operate the devices.

1. Overload protection: If the total current draw of connected devices exceeds the maximum allowed limit (16 amps), the subscriber automatically disconnects the power to prevent overheating of the wires and the risk of fire.
2. Overcurrent protection: It contains electronic components (such as a variable resistor) to absorb sudden and high voltage spikes caused by lightning or problems in the electrical grid.

Design and interior components

• The plug: of the Schuko type (type F) , which is common in Europe, Korea and Egypt.
• The electronic board (PCB): This is the user’s “brain,” and it contains:
• Microcontroller: To manage all protection and control functions.
• Relays: Robust, insulated switches for safely disconnecting and connecting high voltage (220V) to each outlet.
• Sensor circuits: To accurately measure voltage and current.
• Power supply unit: To convert 220V voltage to a lower voltage to power the electronic components of the board itself.
